More reasons to get a Confidential Marriage License...♥

♥Are you planning to get married in a foreign country like Mexico, France or Italy? Some countries have strict requirements and residency restrictions. Avoid the hassle and get married before you leave.
♥You and your spouse are the only ones that can get a copy of the recorded license. This protects your privacy and prevents anyone from obtaining a copy. So often recorded documents wind up on tabloid websites. You can avoid this by getting married with a confidential marriage license.
♥Often you do not want a former spouse to know you have remarried.
♥You are planning a church wedding but need to get married now for health insurance coverage.
♥For tax reasons, before the birth of a baby or you are purchasing a home.
♥So you can change your name on your passport before you travel on your honeymoon. Often brides would like to change their names before they travel so they have the same name as their new husband. If you are divorced you may not want the former spouses name on your passport, airline tickets etc.
♥You are planning a church wedding here or in your home country but need to start the immigration process. Get married now and with the Express mail option you will have your certified copy in 2 weeks. You will need that certified copy for your Immigration appointment.
♥You are being deployed and want to marry your sweetheart before you leave. To change your Status you will also need the Express mail option. When you receive the certified copy you present it to your commanding officer. We offer this for FREE to all active military. It is our way of saying thanks to all the Armed Forces.

Where do I get a Los Angeles Marriage License?

We issue marriage licenses for Los Angeles County.

As a Notary Public I can issue you a marriage license. No need to wait in long lines at the county office. Complete privacy in our office or your home.

How soon should I book a minister?

Well that is a good question. We recommend that you hire the minister as soon as you have a date selected. So it is a good idea to call us and see if we are booked. Our Spanish speaking minister does ceremonies in English as well so we do have other ministers available if Rev. Dave is booked.

Do I need a Blood Test to get married in California?

No, California did away with the blood test in 1995.

In most California counties certain Notaries Public are authorized to issue Confidential Marriage Licenses for that county only. Unfortunately, this is not generally advertised by the counties.

My wife and I are both Notaries Public - and authorized by the County of Los Angeles to issue Confidential Marriage Licenses for them. The Confidential License is private, "sealed" information and only the bride and groom can ever obtain a certified copy of the document.

I believe California and Hawaii are the only states who have agents such as this to issue licenses for them. The license is the same as the one you would get at the county offices, except it's much more convenient from us -- no lines. I have my credentials from the county of Los Angeles in case you would like to verify this information. Also you could call the LA county recorder at 323/586-6192 and verify this with them. California did away with the blood test in 1995.

Welcome From David Nixon

I can perform your wedding, either civil or religious, 7 days a week. California does not have "Justices of the Peace", but as a notary, who issues marriage licenses, I can perform a civil or religious ceremony for you in my chapel, on the beach, or a beach side cliff.

I am located in Torrance, California, near the So Bay Beaches. Cities in this area include, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, El Segundo, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Long Beach and Lomita. I have performed weddings all over this area, as well as Orange County and the Valley.

I have married thousands of couples over the years and my experience and dedication are represented in the caring and spiritual ceremonies I perform. Do not trust your special day to someone that is not experienced. I am not a part time minister like so many of the "Internet Ministers" you will find in your searches. I am a Full time Minister this is what I do everyday and I am dedicated to making every wedding special.

I will do all in my power to make your wedding ceremony memorable and meaningful. I have been marring couples for many years and have never missed an event. I pride myself on being early to all weddings.

My Ceremonies are custom made to suit each couple. You choose the readings and passages that best suit you.
